Duties Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client preferences. Utilize knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients. Apply hair extensions and perform barbering techniques as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and tools. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide professional recommendations. Experience Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Previous experience in retail or salon management is a plus. Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members. Compensation and Pay Description for Hair Salon Employees Our hair salon is committed to providing a supportive and rewarding environment for all employees. Rent or Commission-Based Pay Stylists have the option to rent a station or a commission percentage based on services provided. Commission rates range from (50% to 65%], depending on experience, certifications, and service level. Product Sales Commission Employees earn an additional commission (e.g., [10%]) on retail product sales, providing an extra opportunity to increase earnings. Tips 100% of client tips go directly to the stylist, with no deductions. Clients can leave tips in cash or via credit card, and all tips are distributed daily.
