In this role, you will deliver exceptional beauty services to seniors. Your expertise will be needed in the areas of hair styling, cutting, perming, coloring, basic facial waxing, facial treatments and nail care. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate beauty professionals eager to work with seniors, dementia and Alzheimer customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, honesty, compassion, be able to preform services while the client is in their wheelchair. All positions are paid by commission 60/40, you'll make your own schedule, take your own appointments, and set your own prices. Duties Provide comprehensive cosmetology services including hair styling, coloring, and chemical treatments using knowledge of basic color theory. Conduct facial waxing, and natural nail care services to meet diverse client needs. Utilize salon software like Vagaro and Emenue for scheduling appointments, client records management, and point-of-sale transactions. Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization in accordance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests. Assist at the front desk with guest services including appointment bookings, answering inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. Skills Extensive experience working in the beauty industry with proficiency in cosmetology practices. Strong management skills to coordinate daily operations effectively within a salon. Knowledge of Vagaro salon software and Emenue platform for efficient appointment scheduling and client management. Skilled in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, straight razor shaves, and barbering. And basic facials and facial waxing. Proficient in nail care services like manicures and pedicures. Excellent client communication skills to understand needs clearly and deliver personalized recommendations confidently.
