Duties Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling and coloring, to meet clients' individual needs. Utilize salon software such as MEEVO to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently. Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene by properly cleaning tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations. Provide expert advice on hair care products, retail items, and upselling opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales. Communicate clearly with clients to understand their preferences, offer professional recommendations, and ensure a positive experience. Assist with front desk duties such as greeting clients, managing appointment flow, and supporting store management tasks as needed. Mentor new team members on techniques like barbering, makeup application, eyelash extensions, nail care, and other beauty services to promote team growth. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or barbering license required; additional certifications in hair coloring, hair extensions, or makeup are a plus. Proven experience working in the beauty industry with strong skills in hair styling, coloring theory, and sanitation practices. Excellent communication skills for client consultation and team collaboration. Strong customer service orientation with a passion for helping clients look and feel their best.
