Duties:

Must be licensed. Assistants help out around the salon with various tasks that include, and are not limited to: Shampooing and conditioning clients Blow-drying clients Sweeping salon floor Cleaning and maintaining salon's appearance Laundry, folding towels Helping prepare clients for service Ensuring clients are comfortable, offering beverages and something to read Please note that references and employment history will be verified prior to offering employment. Must be available to work Saturdays. $15/hr + tips Tuesday-Saturday Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license; additional certifications in nail care or makeup application are a plus Commitment to sanitation standards and safety protocols within a busy salon environment Passion for learning new techniques
