Job Description
Looking for a motivated apprentice who is excited to learn and grow their skills and capacity in the beauty industry. This role is for a licensed cosmetology graduate who want real hands on mentorship and a clear path toward building their own clientele and business. This is a 1.5-2 year assistant position with the opportunity to begin building your own clientele starting the first year.
Work Schedule:
Tues, Thurs, Friday- opportunity to work on clients/models all other days with provided tools. Products are subject to a fee. What you'll learn
- client consultation and communication
- proper shampooing and professional blowouts
- color formulation and preparation
- time management and workflow
- building and maintaining clientele Responsibilities
- prepare color, tools, and extension hair for services
- assist with services including shampoo, blow dry, preparing clients, color and toning.
- manage color and extension inventory and organizing items
- maintain a clean and organized workspace
- observe and assist during color and extension appointments
- provide excellent client care and a welcoming salon experience
- continue learning and practicing techniques throughout the mentorship program. What I am looking for
