Job Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling, customer service, and salon management. You will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for our clients. Your expertise in various techniques, including hair extensions, color theory, and barbering, will be essential in delivering outstanding results. Responsibilities Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments. Utilize techniques such as hair extensions, hair threading, and straight razor cuts to meet client needs. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with salon protocols. Use salon software like

MINDBODY

for scheduling appointments and managing client records. Deliver excellent customer service by actively listening to client preferences and providing tailored recommendations. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, answering phones, and managing retail sales. Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on best practices in hair styling and salon operations. Stay updated on current trends in hairstyling, makeup application, and nail care to offer clients the latest services. Engage in upselling products and services to enhance the client experience. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or barbering license is required. Proficiency in hair styling techniques including color theory and straight razor cutting. Experience with salon software systems such as

MINDBODY

is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Background in retail sales is a plus to help drive product sales within the salon. Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated.
