$18.00 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY
: The purpose of this invaluable position is to serve as the primary customer service specialist of our student spa environment. This position is responsible for phone and email bookings, client check in/out, and manages all monetary transactions of our student spa. Must be a licensed Full Specialist.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(includes but may not be limited to the following): Opening/closing spa. Ensure front desk area is organized and stocked appropriately with all necessary items to check in/out and assist clients. Greet clients in a timely manner as they enter the spa. Check clients in/out Oversee timeliness of students meeting with their clients. Assist instructors in managing students to ensure they meet timelines with completing services within the recommended time frame. Scheduling all appointments with clients. Manage students as needed. Ensure students are recommending appropriate retail products to clients. Assist clients by answering questions about retail products. Complete sale of recommended retail products. Manage client transactions including sale of services, products, refunds, returns, and gift certificate sales and redemptions. Ensure all sales tickets are consolidated at the end of business day. Meet all monthly retail and service goals. Send out weekly emails to all students. Responsible for sending out weekly emails to clients to promote the student spa. Actively communicates with instructors and staff. Must be able to attend monthly staff meeting on the last Tuesday of every month.
Inventory Management:
assist Bursar to ensure retail items are ordered and replaced as needed. Assist with cleaning, laundry, and emptying trash cans at the end of each business day. Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED), required. Minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in Spa setting, required. Must hold a current valid full specialist license (skin and nail certified), required. Customer Service experience, required. Office Management experience, preferred.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Must be a licensed full specialist (skin and nail certified),required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficiency with computers, telephone lines, and other related office equipment. Proficient typing skills. Professional attitude and appearance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional organization and skills. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership skills. Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. Strong customer service outlook.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Light to moderate physical activity performing non-strenuous activities to include: Standing and/or sitting for an extended period of time. Walking, stooping, kneeling, and reaching overhead. Lifting up to 25 lbs. Working in a well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned indoor setting with adequate ventilation. Using manual dexterity sufficient to handle/reach items and work with hands and fingers. Using close/distant/peripheral and depth perception.
