Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a full-time Medical Assistant in South Florida in a Weight Loss Clinic & Med Spa, where your enthusiasm and expertise will directly impact patient care. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) accurately. Prepare examination rooms and assist providers during procedures Perform phlebotomy, draw labs Perform EKGs Perform IM & SC Injections Support medical documentation efforts by recording detailed notes on patient visits and medical records management. Help Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks to optimize clinic operations. Help Answer Phones & Emails Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant with background in administering injections and drawing blood, performing EKGs and taking vital signs. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, medical terminology, ICD coding, and EMR/EHR systems. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient service while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently. Previous experience working with electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) and medical documentation standards.
