As a Spa Attendant, you play an essential role in delivering the exceptional experience our guests expect at Beau Monde West Spa. While this position works primarily behind the scenes, it is one of the most important roles within the spa, helping create the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere guests enjoy throughout their visit. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, flow, and presentation of the spa while assisting guests throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to recognize what needs to be done without constant direction. This is a fast-paced, physically active position that requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and consistent movement throughout the day. Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Hospitality Welcome and assist guests throughout their visit. Guide guests through spa amenities, including the relaxation lounge, salt room, sauna, and locker areas. Maintain a calm, quiet, and relaxing atmosphere throughout the spa. Anticipate guest needs and provide exceptional hospitality during their stay. Communicate professionally and warmly with guests and team members. Read guest needs and respond appropriately while maintaining professionalism and composure. Spa Operations & Facility Care Maintain cleanliness throughout treatment rooms and all guest areas. Complete laundry duties to ensure linens, robes, towels, and supplies remain fully stocked. Keep relaxation areas, locker rooms, salt room, and sauna clean, organized, and guest-ready. Restock supplies and notify management when inventory is running low. Assist with opening and closing duties to ensure the spa is prepared for daily operations. Help maintain overall spa presentation, cleanliness, and organization standards throughout the day. Assist with the setup and teardown of private parties, events, and spa gatherings. Support service providers to help maintain efficient treatment flow and daily operations. Team Support & Professionalism Take initiative and recognize what needs to be done without constant direction. Adapt to changing priorities and assist wherever needed. Remain calm and professional during busy or stressful situations. Handle feedback and coaching constructively. Work collaboratively with teammates to create a positive work environment. Uphold Beau Monde West Spa's standards of professionalism, hospitality, and guest care. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years of age or older Previous spa, hospitality, customer service, housekeeping, cleaning, or wellness experience preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to remain calm, positive, and professional during busy or stressful situations Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of personalities and guest needs Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs Self-starter with strong initiative and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative team member Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Passion for health, wellness, hospitality, and exceptional guest care Understanding of the importance of maintaining a peaceful, luxury spa environment at all times Interview & Hiring Process Our onboarding process begins during the interview stage to ensure this position is the right fit for both the candidate and our team. Our hiring process includes the following steps: Initial phone interview In-person interview Three-hour observational shadowing experience (unpaid) Final interview with ownership The shadowing portion is observation-only and allows candidates to experience the spa environment, daily flow, and expectations of the position before moving forward in the hiring process. This position involves much more than laundry and keeping the spa looking its best. It is also a client-facing role that requires interacting with guests and helping create a positive experience throughout their visit. Are you comfortable with that aspect of the position? What makes you a good candidate for this position? Please be as detailed as possible, as your response will be considered during the next step of the hiring process. We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule who is able to work varying hours throughout the week and who is available to work some weekends. Availability is also required on the third Monday of each month from 1:00-3:00 PM for our mandatory staff meeting. The schedule will be set after the training period. For further consideration, please list any days or times you are consistently unavailable.
