Job Description
Make a Difference Through Beauty and Care The Village at Appledorn is seeking a compassionate and talented Beautician to provide salon services for our senior residents. This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while helping residents look and feel their best in a warm, supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide hair care services including shampooing, cutting, styling, coloring, and perms.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary salon environment.
- Consult with residents regarding their grooming preferences and needs.
- Ensure excellent customer service and a welcoming salon experience.
- Manage appointments and maintain service records as required.
- Comply with all community, health, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current State Cosmetology License required.
- Previous salon or cosmetology experience preferred.
- Experience working with seniors is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patient, compassionate, and service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage scheduling effectively.
