The ideal candidate is eager to learn, works well in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong interest in hair, beauty, and client service. Responsibilities Assist hairstylists during color, cutting, styling, and treatment services. Shampoo, condition, and properly prepare clients for services. Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized workstations. Prepare color, products, tools, and supplies as directed by the stylist. Assist with blowouts, styling, and other salon services within the scope of training and licensing. Keep towels, capes, tools, and salon supplies stocked and organized. Help maintain overall cleanliness of the salon throughout the day. Provide warm, professional, and attentive customer service. Greet clients and assist with their comfort before, during, and after services. Support stylists with client preparation and salon operations. Follow all salon sanitation, safety, and professional standards. Be open to ongoing education and learning new techniques. Qualifications Cosmetology student, graduate, or licensed cosmetologist preferred. Passion for hair and the beauty industry. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Positive attitude and professional appearance. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Dependable, punctual, and organized. Ability to work well as part of a team.
