Spa Associate Main Line Float and Freeze Ardmore, PA Job Details Part-time $12 - $17 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Schedule management Client services Cleaning Stocking Full Job Description Main Line Float and Freeze is seeking a part time customer service rep to discover the mastery of Floatation Therapy and Mind and Body recovery. You will assist in the day to day operations of a Float Center, including routine customer care and center management tasks such as checking clients in, answering phones, booking appointments, cleaning, managing water chemistry and tidying/restocking rooms between floats. You'll be handling tasks not just for the float side, but for our entire recovery center greeting and managing customers of our cryotherapy, compression therapy, and sauna. Must be adaptable and calm, as you will be working with a clientele from diverse backgrounds who expect a premium level of service and presence. The position will also include excellent conversation with customers and our staff of float guides and all things relating to sensory deprivation. It is ideal for a student with a flexible schedule, and, while there is much to do in running a float center, at times allows for some degree of personal free time between floats to work on your own projects and studies. Main Line Float and Freeze is a very relaxing environment; this is key, as our entire business is based on relaxation and health. We create a brief refuge from our clients' daily stresses. We are therefore seeking an individual who, while being efficient and productive, exudes relaxation and health. It's a unique mix! Schedule Our business hours are Monday 3-830pm, closed Tuesdays, Wed-Thurs 11am-330pm, Fri-Sat 9am to 830 and Sunday 9am-6pm. Work days start 30-45 minutes before scheduled opening Qualifications No specific work or academic qualification is required, though good client service experience is useful. We are looking for people who are reliable and professional, friendly, articulate, easy going, health conscience and most of all …relaxed. You should also have a hunger for learning about floating, mindfulness and healing. Some level of exercise is required. You must be able to walk up and down stairs frequently, and lift 50lbs. Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate starts at $12-17, with pay raises based on performance and tenure. This rate reflects the cyclical nature of the work day, in which, after scheduled tasks are completed, you will often get some degree of time to do your own thing between floats. We also offer a generous commission program for selling memberships and packages.
