Job Description
Salon Assistant / Future Hairstylist Amy's Hair Creations is looking for a motivated, dependable, and positive Salon Assistant/Future Hairstylist who is passionate about healthy hair care and wants to grow in the beauty industry. This is more than an assistant position—it's an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, develop your skills, and eventually build your own clientele within our salon. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Shampooing and conditioning clients' hair Assisting stylists during services Greeting and checking in clients Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming salon Folding towels and keeping supplies stocked Sweeping and sanitizing salon stations Taking out trash and assisting with general salon upkeep Answering phones and helping schedule appointments as needed Braiding hair when requested Providing excellent customer service to every client Assisting with other daily salon operations as needed Qualifications Pennsylvania cosmetology license preferred (or currently enrolled in cosmetology school if applicable) Passion for healthy hair care and continued education Professional appearance and positive attitude Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work well in a team environment Reliable, punctual, and organized Comfortable working in a fast-paced salon Growth Opportunity We are looking for someone who wants a long-term career—not just a job.
