Bucknell Golf Club in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a seasonal part-time Guest Service Attendant ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. This is a seasonal position with an expected duration of six months or less. General Description of Duties and Responsibilities
Check-in golfers and maintain a properly functioning tee sheet and pace of play.
Responsible to continually monitor, implement and adhere to all company goals, policies, procedures and controls.
Opens, closes, and secures Pro Shop and carts
Bringing carts from the cart barn in the morning and returning carts to the cart barn at the end of the day
Cleaning, fueling, and checking carts after each use
Assist with receiving merchandise and adhere to purchase order procedures.
Assist with the rotation of shop displays.
Maintain an organized stock room and assist the buyer and other shop assistants with stock and golf shop cleanliness.
Assist with pricing of merchandise.
Assist with maintaining proper inventory counts and levels.
Perform other duties as requested by the Head Professional.
Provide service in any and every way.
Go the extra mile to provide the standard of service guests expect.
Experience / Education
/ Certification Requirements
Must have a friendly and positive personality
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must have basic computer skills
Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic
Knowledge about the game of golf preferred
Basic computer skills.
Ability to make arithmetic computations quickly and accurately.
Deal effectively with the public.
Must be able to operate a golf car in a safe manner.
High School education or its equivalent.
Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language. Physical and Other Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. to waist height.
Frequent bending, turning, kneeling and stooping.
Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
Must be able to stand for extended periods.
Repetitive motion required including computer entry.
Normal vision and hearing required.
