Bucknell Golf Club in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a seasonal part-time Guest Service Attendant ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. This is a seasonal position with an expected duration of six months or less. General Description of Duties and Responsibilities
  • Check-in golfers and maintain a properly functioning tee sheet and pace of play.
  • Responsible to continually monitor, implement and adhere to all company goals, policies, procedures and controls.
  • Opens, closes, and secures Pro Shop and carts
  • Bringing carts from the cart barn in the morning and returning carts to the cart barn at the end of the day
  • Cleaning, fueling, and checking carts after each use
  • Assist with receiving merchandise and adhere to purchase order procedures.
  • Assist with the rotation of shop displays.
  • Maintain an organized stock room and assist the buyer and other shop assistants with stock and golf shop cleanliness.
  • Assist with pricing of merchandise.
  • Assist with maintaining proper inventory counts and levels.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Head Professional.
  • Provide service in any and every way.

Experience / Education
/ Certification Requirements
  • Must have a friendly and positive personality
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic
  • Knowledge about the game of golf preferred
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to make arithmetic computations quickly and accurately.
  • Deal effectively with the public.
  • Must be able to operate a golf car in a safe manner.
  • High School education or its equivalent.
  • Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language. Physical and Other Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. to waist height.
  • Frequent bending, turning, kneeling and stooping.
  • Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Repetitive motion required including computer entry.
  • Normal vision and hearing required.
