Crematory Operator Clearstone Memorial Partners Keizer, OR Job Details Full-time $18 - $21 an hour 6 days ago Qualifications Automobile transportation Company vehicle operation Driver's License Cleaning Facilities routine maintenance Full Job Description Job Overview Crematory Operator reports to the General Manager and is responsible for coordinating and carrying out cremation services in a respectful, safe, and compliant manner. This position helps coordinate the cremation schedule, ensures proper documentation and chain of custody, and maintains the crematorium and equipment in accordance with Company policies and applicable regulations. Duties Cares for deceased in a respectful manner while performing all the tasks involved in the cremation process Receives remains and ensures all documentation is complete and visual identification of the deceased is complete and accurate. Completes all required documentation with respect to cremation process and equipment maintenance Adheres to all professional, municipal, state/provincial and federal licensing authority regulations applicable to the cremation of human remains Adheres to all applicable policies and procedures Maintains all Company logs/reports and required state-specific reports Maintains all chain of custody paperwork Promotes a safe work environment by being aware of and practicing universal precautions and adopting general principles of safe conduct Maintains the crematorium, equipment and adjacent facilities Transport of decedents between locations as needed May deliver/release cremated remains to appropriate funeral home or proper authority Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and routine upkeep of machinery to ensure equipment remains safe and operational; maintain accurate records of all maintenance performed.

Requirements:

Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and meet the Company's driving and insurability requirements, including eligibility to operate Company vehicles under the Company's automobile insurance policy. Perform other duties as assigned by the needs of the business. Ability to present oneself with professional appearance and behavior in accordance to Employee Handbook Policies.

Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
