What you'll do Perform DiamondGlow treatments, customizing the exfoliation, extraction, and serum infusion to each client's skin type, concerns, and goals. Perform chemical peels within the scope of a California esthetician license, and select the right peel for each client's skin and treatment plan. Provide medical-grade facials, extractions, dermaplaning, and other non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatments. Run thorough skin consultations using next-generation skin analysis, and build personalized treatment plans and homecare regimens. Educate clients on the clinic's full menu. Introduce complementary treatments such as neuromodulators, dermal fillers, biostimulators, and wellness services where they fit a client's goals, and refer clients to our licensed medical providers for consultation and candidacy. Work with our nurse injectors and Medical Director on combination plans, such as pairing DiamondGlow or peels with injectables, and on pre- and post-treatment skincare that supports the best results. Educate clients on product use, treatment expectations, pre-care, post-care, and long-term maintenance. Recommend treatment series, membership options, and professional skincare to support client retention and practice growth. Keep treatment rooms and all services to a high standard of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety. Accurately document treatments, product recommendations, client concerns, and follow-up plans. Help shape the skin menu, product selection, and protocols as a founding voice. Stay current on skincare advances, product knowledge, and medical aesthetics. What you'll bring Active California esthetician license (Board of Barbering and Cosmetology) required. 2+ years of experience in a med spa, dermatology, or medical aesthetics setting preferred. Hands-on DiamondGlow experience strongly preferred. Experience with similar advanced exfoliation or infusion systems will be considered. Proven experience performing chemical peels , including peel selection, skin prep, contraindication screening, and post-peel care. Strong knowledge of skin health, active ingredients, contraindications, and post-procedure skincare. Working knowledge of injectables and other medical aesthetic treatments, and the confidence to educate clients on them accurately and without pressure. A consultative, client-first approach to recommending treatments and retail. Excellent communication skills, and the ability to explain complex treatments clearly. Professional, polished, dependable, and team-oriented, with strong attention to detail. Preferred experience Experienced in a med spa or dermatology practice. Experience with medical-grade skincare lines. Comfort with client photography, consultations, and treatment plan follow-up. Sales experience with skincare, treatment packages, or membership programs. An existing client book or social media following. Interest in growing with the practice long-term.
