Job Description
Medical Esthetician - Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional medical esthetician to join our Aesthetics and Wellness Center. The ideal candidate for this esthetician position will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. Esthetician will be crucial in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all individuals entering our facility. Familiarity with medical terminology and patient care is highly valued, as you will be interacting with both patients and medical staff. Medical Esthetician - Responsibilities Esthetician will greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, verifying patient information. Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for medical staff. Collect and process patient information, including insurance details and medical history. Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing calls to appropriate personnel. Assist in managing medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations. Provide support in understanding medical terminology related to Wellness and Medical Spa industry. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care, including understanding vital signs and coding procedures. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are up-to-date. Must have a current, valid medical license to practice in a state of Florida. Minimum of 1 year hands on clinical experience as medical assistant. Strong interpersonal skills. Exceptional drive and networking skills. Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality. Comfortable working in a sales-oriented job (sales training will be provided). Strong communication and listening skills. Must be a team player. Competence in using email, secure messaging systems, and handling digital patient communication. Proficient in using Electronic Health Record for patient documentation and scheduling. Comfortable with Microsoft Office for administrative tasks. Comfortable with using Social Media and creating graphics for it. Medical Esthetician - Experience Valid State Aesthetician / Esthetics License. Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a professional spa or clinical setting. Existing clientele is a strong plus! Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds. Proficient in using office equipment and software; experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous. A compassionate approach to patient care combined with excellent organizational skills.
