Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to address client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that optimize pain management and overall well-being. Deliver professional skincare services such as facials, exfoliations, waxing, and other esthetic treatments tailored to individual skin types and concerns. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals, explain treatment procedures clearly, and provide aftercare recommendations. Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with health regulations. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols including CPR certification. Stay current with industry trends by participating in ongoing education related to massage therapy techniques, esthetic advancements, physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and client communication skills. Experience Proven experience as a licensed massage therapist with proficiency in multiple modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management techniques. Prior work in a med spa or healthcare setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately assess client needs and recommend appropriate treatments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients about their health concerns and treatment options. Familiarity with occupational health standards and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic practices. Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in esthetics or skincare are preferred. Experience working with clients on pain relief or injury recovery is a plus.
