Henderson, NV | In person Overview Are you an experienced Advanced Esthetician ready to grow as a leader while doing what you love? At Selah-Vee Mental Wellness & Spa, we bring personalized skincare and mental wellness together in a serene, welcoming sanctuary. We're seeking a compassionate, proactive Lead Advanced Esthetician to deliver exceptional treatments, mentor our esthetics team, and help support the spa's daily operations and growth. This hands-on role combines client care with leadership, including assisting with interviews, training new hires, creating social media content, answering calls, and following up with clients. You'll work closely with the owner to maintain high service standards and create an environment where clients and team members feel supported. Duties Skincare and Client Care Perform personalized facials, HydraFacial, chemical peels, and other services within your license, training, and the spa's service menu. Conduct thorough consultations and recommend treatments, home-care routines, and retail products suited to each client's needs. Educate clients on treatment expectations, aftercare, and maintaining healthy skin. Build lasting relationships through attentive service, thoughtful follow-up, and rebooking recommendations. Address client questions and concerns with warmth and professionalism. Maintain consistent sanitation, safety, and treatment-room standards. Leadership and Team Development Lead by example in client care, professionalism, teamwork, and service quality. Assist the owner with interviewing and evaluating prospective estheticians. Help onboard and train new hires on treatments, products, spa procedures, and client communication. Mentor team members through hands-on guidance, constructive feedback, and ongoing coaching. Help monitor service quality and team performance, identifying opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with therapists and wellness practitioners to create a cohesive, welcoming client experience. Daily Operations and Marketing Help coordinate daily esthetics operations, appointment flow, and treatment-room readiness. Answer calls, respond to service inquiries, and assist clients with booking appointments. Follow up with prospective and existing clients about inquiries, treatment experiences, and future appointments. Create and post social media content featuring skincare education, services, promotions, and the Selah-Vee experience. Assist with inventory tracking, supply needs, and product organization. Collaborate with the owner on scheduling, promotions, workshops, and events. Keep client communications organized and ensure timely responses. Experience and Qualifications Active Nevada Advanced Esthetician license. At least 5 years of hands-on facial service experience. Hands-on experience with HydraFacial and strong knowledge of advanced skincare treatments and products. Previous leadership, training, or mentoring experience preferred. Strong consultation skills and confidence recommending appropriate services and retail products. Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through. Comfort creating social media content and supporting client calls, booking, and follow-up. Knowledge of sanitation protocols, treatment safety, and applicable licensing requirements. A compassionate, client-centered approach and an interest in holistic wellness. Initiative, reliability, and a willingness to contribute to the spa's daily operations. Interest in collaborating with mental health professionals and holistic practitioners is a plus. Performance Expectations Success will be measured through client care, service results, and leadership contributions, including: Client retention and rebooking, with a target of 70% or higher. Retail sales, with a goal of 15-30% of total service revenue. Appropriate service enhancements based on client needs. Client satisfaction, reviews, and overall experience.
