JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the delivery of elective skin care services like Diamond Glow, Lasers, Peels, Facials, Body Contouring treatments, etc. Other responsibilities include patient education on treatment plans and treatment plans to address specific concerns. Ensures the patient is satisfied with elective skin care services and products recommended and continues to return to receive skin care treatment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. High school diploma; college degree preferred. 2. Active state of Texas Aesthetician's License required. 3. Two-years experience in a medical office working as an aesthetician.

1. Possesses wide-ranging knowledge of skin care treatment(s), elective services and products. 2. Excellent communication skills with the ability to suggestively sell through proper education. 3. Good problem solving and analytical skills. 4. Ability to work as a team member. 5. Well-organized with attention to detail. 6. Ability to manage multi-task well with knowledge of how to prioritize tasks intelligently. 7. Treats patients and co-workers with respect. 8. Empathetic with patient's needs and concerns.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides patients with consultations regarding skincare services. Provides patients with instructions and educational materials that relate to their unique skin type and recommend adjustments to their skincare regiment as appropriate. Full understanding this position is a member of the marketing team as much as providing services. Our entire team is responsible for helping acquire new patients and positively portraying our company (and treatments) outside the office. Determines patient skin care goals and objectives and recommends products and services that can reasonably facilitate attainment of those goals. Seeks advice and supervision of physician as required on treatment protocols and notifies the physician of any patient noncompliance. Responsible for the coordination of any correspondence to patients regarding their skin care treatment plan, product usage, or home care instructions. Maintains patient medical records detailing all treatment procedures, elective products, medication history, and educational materials received. Monitors equipment for proper operation and maintains said equipment in accordance with provided guidelines. Maintains treatment rooms and work areas in compliance with practices and regulatory standards. Participates and attends in-service educational programs and staff meetings. Helps provide outstanding patient experiences via superior service, treatment(s), thank you letters, and proper follow-up as outlined by the practice leadership. © 2020, BSM Consulting Aesthetician Page 2 Helps accurately maintain inventory for retail and professional products. Assists in stocking inventory and supplies as needed for maintaining treatment rooms and retail areas. Help clean office, treatment rooms, common spaces, and stock room(s). Report low inventory levels of retail and back-stock products needed to perform treatments and/or services. Responsible for generating specific revenue targets in both service/treatments and retail products. Average revenue per appointment is monitored and shared to ensure our team is working together to deliver best possible patient outcomes. Ensure a high degree of patient satisfaction with patient return rates measured and monitored. Schedule can be somewhat flexible but must be willing to work at any of our three Austin-are locations. Other duties as assigned.
