Open Roles Embalmer As an Embalmer, you bring both technical mastery and reverence to your work. You will support families through exceptional preparation, ensuring their loved ones are presented with dignity, respect, and care. What You'll Do Perform embalming, disinfecting, dressing, preparing, and casketing with precision and OSHA compliant standards. Complete removals and transfers with professionalism and sensitivity. Initiate compassionate first contact, gathering essential information to support families from the very beginning. Uphold the highest level of care so families experience comfort and healing when seeing their loved one at rest. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Qualifications Current Illinois Funeral Director/Embalmer License or ability to reciprocate. 1+ years of funeral industry experience demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and technical skill. Funeral Director/Embalmer This role blends technical preparation with meaningful, family facing service. You will guide families through arrangements and services while collaborating with a passionate care center team committed to excellence. What You'll Do Serve families with empathy, clarity, and professionalism throughout the arrangement and service process. Coordinate and direct funeral and memorial services to ensure seamless, meaningful experiences. Perform embalming and preparation using industry leading techniques and OSHA compliant standards. Maintain regulatory compliance across all funeral service operations. Partner with a dedicated team that values compassion, quality, and community impact. Qualifications Current Illinois Funeral Director/Embalmer License or ability to reciprocate. 1+ years of funeral industry experience demonstrating compassion and technical skill. Funeral Home Manager As a Funeral Home Manager, you will lead operations at Graceland/Fairlawn and Moran & Goebel Funeral Homes. This role is ideal for a leader who values collaboration, ethical decision making, and community engagement. What You'll Do Lead funeral home operations with professionalism, accountability, and service oriented leadership. Plan and participate in community events, holiday programs, and outreach initiatives. Develop and motivate staff to deliver service that exceeds family expectations. Achieve annual case volume and revenue goals while ensuring profitable, ethical growth. Foster a cooperative team environment built on respect, communication, and shared purpose. Qualifications Licensed Funeral Director in Illinois or ability to reciprocate. 5+ years of experience in a related field. 2+ years of management or leadership experience (funeral profession preferred). Strong customer relations and professional communication skills. Requirements Considering Relocation?
