Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Laundry Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure our guests experience the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the freshness and sanitation of all hotel linens, towels, robes, and other fabric items. Responsibilities Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to thoroughly clean textiles. Handle laundry materials with care, ensuring proper sorting, loading, and unloading of linens, towels, uniforms, and other fabric items. Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport laundry safely throughout the facility while adhering to safety standards. Follow strict sanitation procedures and safety protocols during all laundry processes to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment. Manage laundry detergents and cleaning agents responsibly, applying appropriate amounts for different types of fabrics and stains. Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly when loading or unloading large quantities of laundry or bulky items. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including sorting stations and laundry equipment, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or laundry services within a hospitality or industrial setting is preferred. Knowledge of textile cleaning techniques including laundry washing, dry cleaning, and garment care machine operation. Ability to handle materials safely using manual handling techniques and push carts for transporting heavy loads. Familiarity with safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents and ensure proper use of equipment. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, reading labels, and managing inventory levels accurately. Strong understanding of sanitation practices necessary for maintaining hygiene standards in hotel environments. Excellent customer service skills to support team collaboration and guest satisfaction when needed.
