The Tunnel Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the tunnel washing system to ensure the efficient and hygienic cleaning of hospital linens, uniforms, and other washable materials. This role plays a vital part in maintaining cleanliness and infection control within the hospital by delivering clean, sanitized linens for patient care and hospital operations.

Tunnel Operator Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred. This is a safety sensitive position.

Minimum Requirements:

Strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work well under pressure and in a fast paced environmentStrong attention to detail to ensure quality and cleanliness of linensAbility to lift and move heavy laundry loads and work in a physically demanding environment

Preferred Requirements:

Previous experience in a laundry or linen service setting preferred, especially in a healthcare or hospitality environmentBasic mechanical skills for operating and troubleshooting laundry equipment
