Ventura TowneHouse, an upscale retirement community in Ventura, CA, is looking for a dependable Laundry Aide to join our team. This position plays an important role in keeping our community's linens and resident laundry clean, organized, and ready when needed. You'll work as part of our housekeeping team in a hands-on role that combines independent work with occasional interaction with residents and other team members.

Responsibilities:

Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and resident clothing Prepare and deliver clean linens throughout the community Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment properly Maintain a clean and sanitary laundry area Clean laundry equipment, including removing lint and detergent buildup Follow proper infection-control and linen-handling procedures Identify and document damaged or worn linens Keep laundry supplies and work areas organized Assist with other related duties as needed

Requirements:

Dependable and able to work independently Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to cleanliness and organization Previous laundry, housekeeping, hotel, or healthcare experience preferred, but we are willing to train Must be at least 18 years old Must pass required background clearance and TB testing Must meet applicable state and licensing requirements

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and move throughout the shift Ability to lift and push up to 100 pounds Must be comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks
