Responsibilities Operate garment care machines including pressing machines, dry cleaning equipment, and laundry washers to ensure optimal cleaning results. Handle garments with care during processing, including manual handling of heavy or delicate items, to maintain quality standards. Perform garment finishing tasks such as pressing, steaming, and folding to deliver crisp, professional results. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly cleaning equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas using appropriate detergents and cleaning techniques. Process cash transactions accurately while providing friendly customer service at the cashier station. Assist customers with their garment care needs, answer questions about laundry services, and ensure a positive experience. Follow safety protocols when operating machinery and handling cleaning chemicals to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Requirements Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is highly desirable, especially with garment finishing or laundry services. Knowledge of fabric care principles, garment pressing techniques, and dry cleaning processes is preferred. Ability to operate pressing machines, garment care equipment, and perform manual handling of heavy items safely. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, workspace maintenance routines, and safety procedures related to chemical handling.
