Responsibilities Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Handle materials carefully using proper manual handling techniques and push carts to transport laundry items throughout the facility. Sort, load, and unload laundry loads efficiently while maintaining sanitation standards and preventing cross-contamination. Apply appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents following safety standards in production to ensure optimal textile cleaning results. Perform routine inspections of textiles for stains or damages and execute garment care procedures accordingly. Maintain cleanliness of work areas by adhering to sanitation guidelines and safety protocols during all laundry processes. Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and materials handling equipment to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Prior experience in laundry services or textile cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of laundry detergents, sanitation practices, and garment care machines is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and managing inventory counts accurately. Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Excellent customer service skills to support guest satisfaction when handling guest garments or linens.
