In this role, you will be responsible for expertly pressing and finishing garments to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. Your expertise will help deliver impeccable clothing care services, contributing to a polished customer experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where precision, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are paramount. Duties Operate pressing machines and garment care equipment to press, shape, and finish clothing items with precision. Handle garment finishing tasks such as steaming, folding, and inspecting garments for quality assurance. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitized and stored. Assist with laundry and dry cleaning processes when necessary, including sorting, loading, and unloading garments. Perform manual handling of heavy or bulky items safely, adhering to proper lifting techniques. Process cash transactions accurately at the point of service when applicable. Follow safety protocols related to the use of cleaning detergents and garment care chemicals to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel or hospitality industry is highly desirable, especially in garment finishing or laundry services. Knowledge of garment pressing techniques, dry cleaning procedures, and fabric care is essential. Familiarity with pressing machines, garment care equipment operation, and laundry services is preferred. Ability to maintain a clean workspace using appropriate cleaning detergents and tools. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely. Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control in garment finishing. Good customer service skills for interacting professionally with clients when needed.
