Responsibilities Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment efficiently and safely. Handle laundry materials with proper manual handling techniques, including heavy lifting and push cart usage, to transport linens, garments, and textiles. Maintain cleanliness of work areas by performing routine sanitation and ensuring all laundry tools and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained. Follow safety standards in production environments by adhering to safety protocol guidelines and using personal protective equipment as required. Sort, load, and unload laundry loads accurately, ensuring textiles are processed according to type and care instructions. Assist with textile cleaning processes including washing, drying, pressing, folding, and garment care to ensure high-quality results. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests for laundry services and ensuring timely completion of tasks. Requirements Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, pushing carts, and standing for extended periods. Knowledge of sanitation practices, laundry detergents, and textile cleaning techniques is advantageous. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, chemicals, or other supplies accurately. Understanding of safety standards in production environments with a commitment to following safety protocol guidelines at all times. Strong attention to detail in sorting textiles and operating machinery correctly to prevent damage. Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service.
