Responsibilities Operate laundry machines such as industrial washers and dryers with precision and care. Handle all laundry materials safely, including textiles, linens, and towels, following established sanitation protocols. Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal care. Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport laundry loads efficiently throughout the facility. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by adhering to safety standards in production and sanitation guidelines. Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly while following proper manual handling procedures to prevent injury. Ensure all laundry detergents and cleaning agents are used correctly according to safety standards in production. Keep detailed records of laundry cycles, materials used, and maintenance needs for equipment upkeep. Assist with special textile cleaning requests such as dry cleaning or stain removal when required. Follow safety protocols diligently to create a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Requirements Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Ability to operate garment care machines including industrial washers and dryers effectively. Knowledge of sanitation practices related to textile cleaning and laundry services. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, standing for extended periods, and pushing carts regularly. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, sorting items, and recording data accurately. Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments with a focus on safety protocol adherence. Excellent customer service skills to maintain a positive attitude when interacting with team members or assisting other departments. Familiarity with textile care techniques such as dry cleaning or stain removal is a plus but not required.
