Duties Operate laundry machines including industrial washers, dryers, and garment care equipment to clean linens, towels, and guest clothing efficiently. Handle materials with care using proper manual handling techniques and push carts to transport laundry loads safely throughout the facility. Maintain sanitation standards by properly using laundry detergents, fabric softeners, and dry cleaning chemicals following safety protocols. Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry with precision, ensuring garments are cared for according to textile cleaning standards. Assist with general housekeeping tasks such as changing bed linens, replenishing guest supplies, and ensuring guest rooms meet cleanliness standards. Follow safety procedures during heavy lifting and materials handling activities to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment. Support customer service efforts by responding promptly to guest requests related to laundry or room cleaning needs. Requirements Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of laundry loads and push cart operation safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, chemicals, and understanding operational instructions. Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards in production environments is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and quality standards. Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while adhering to safety protocols.
