Responsibilities:

Assisting customers with operating washing machines and dryers. Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness of the laundromat. Providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries or issues promptly. Handling cash transactions accurately using a touch screen POS system. Restocking supplies such as detergent and fabric softener. Reporting maintenance or equipment issues to managers. Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all customers. Following all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Understanding of how to sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry. Average technology skills. Previous customer service experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy. Ability to use a POS system to accept credit card payment. Attention to detail and ability to multitask. Basic knowledge of laundry equipment operation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) if necessary.

Hazards:

Risk of slips and falls due to wet floors. Exposure to cleaning chemicals and detergents.
