Key Responsibilities:

Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing for residents. Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment with care. Inspect laundry for stains or damage before processing to ensure quality standards. Iron and press garments as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and personal items. Follow safety procedures, especially when handling chemicals.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in laundry services, especially in a medical setting is a plus. Knowledge of fabric care and laundry techniques for various materials. Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.

Helpful Skills:

Experience with dry cleaning processes and equipment. Familiarity with hotel or senior living laundry operations.
