Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and specialty machines to process linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles efficiently. Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry items with precision and care to meet quality standards. Perform routine cleaning of laundry areas and equipment to ensure a safe and sanitary workspace. Assist with dry cleaning processes when required, ensuring proper handling of delicate fabrics. Maintain accurate records of laundry cycles, loads processed, and inventory levels of linens and supplies. Support the overall cleanliness of guest areas by ensuring linens are replenished promptly and neatly. Follow safety procedures and use protective gear when handling chemicals or performing maintenance tasks. Qualifications Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes. Strong attention to detail to ensure all linens meet cleanliness standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency. Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols related to laundry operations.
