Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel environment, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities Operate washing machines and dryers to launder hotel linens and guest clothing. Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures. Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed for delicate fabrics or special requests. Inspect items for stains or damage before and after laundering, ensuring quality control. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area at all times. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management promptly. Adhere to safety protocols and health regulations while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Qualifications Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role within a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of laundering techniques for various fabric types is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean effectively and efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
