Our facility also hosts an Adult Day Health Center, Senior Transportation and Home Care Services. Join our dedicated team as a Laundry Aide, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within our facility. This energetic position involves handling laundry services efficiently, ensuring textiles and garments are cleaned, cared for, and returned in pristine condition. Duties Operate laundry equipment including garment care machines, industrial dryers, and dry cleaning units to process textiles effectively Sort, load, and unload laundry materials using push carts and manual handling techniques while adhering to safety protocols Use appropriate laundry detergents and sanitation practices to ensure all items are cleaned thoroughly and safely Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting of laundry loads, following safety standards in production environments Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines, work surfaces, and surrounding spaces Assist with textile cleaning tasks such as stain removal and garment care to uphold high standards of quality Follow safety standards in production by wearing proper protective equipment and adhering to safety protocol guidelines at all times Experience Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with sanitation procedures, laundry detergents, and textile cleaning techniques is advantageous Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and operating laundry machinery Basic math skills for measuring detergents and managing laundry loads accurately Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments and commitment to maintaining a safe workspace Customer service experience is a plus, especially when interacting with residents or guests regarding their laundry needs Join us to make a difference through your dedication to cleanliness and textile care!
