Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items according to established procedures. Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring that delicate fabrics are handled with care. Inspect laundry items for stains or damages and take appropriate action to treat or report them. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and garments to various departments. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating laundry equipment. Qualifications Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel setting, is highly desirable. Knowledge of proper laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks such as lifting and moving laundry items.
