• Operate garment care machines such as washers, dryers, and occasionally ironing and steaming.
• Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, folding, pressing, and organizing linens and clothing items.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas by performing routine sanitation and adhering to safety standards in production environments.
• Use push carts and other tools to transport heavy loads of laundry safely throughout the facility while practicing proper manual handling techniques.
• Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents during heavy lifting or equipment operation.
• Perform quality checks on finished laundry items to ensure proper garment care, stain removal, and textile cleaning standards are met.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring laundry detergents and cleaning supplies, ensuring proper usage and storage.
• Pick up and delivery of laundry Qualifications
• Prior experience or familiarity with cleaning, laundry services, or textile maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and pushing carts.
• Basic math skills for measuring detergents, calculating loads, and weighing laundry.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards in production environments. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control for garment care and textile cleaning.
• Excellent customer service skills are a plus when interacting with team members or clients.
• Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while operating laundry machinery.
