Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional laundry services by efficiently handling textiles, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring garments are properly cared for. Responsibilities Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and safety. Sort, load, and unload laundry materials, ensuring proper handling of textiles and materials. Use appropriate laundry detergents and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards. Handle heavy lifting tasks safely using push carts or other equipment to transport linens and garments. Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents during manual handling and materials transportation. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including sanitation of machines and work surfaces. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to laundry requests and ensuring timely completion of tasks. Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and textile care. Ability to operate garment care machinery safely and efficiently. Experience with sanitation standards in production environments. Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, calculating loads, or managing inventory. Familiarity with safety standards related to industrial laundry operations. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude. Knowledge of hotel or hospitality industry standards is a plus.
