Responsibilities Operate garment care machines such as pressing machines, dryers, washers, and garment finishing equipment with precision and safety. Process laundry orders accurately, including sorting, washing, drying, pressing, folding, and packaging garments. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly cleaning machines, work areas, and tools using appropriate cleaning detergents. Assist customers with their laundry needs by providing friendly service, answering questions about services offered, and processing cash transactions efficiently. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of laundry loads and garment handling while adhering to safety protocols. Monitor machine performance; perform basic troubleshooting or report issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime. Follow proper garment care procedures based on fabric knowledge to prevent damage and ensure high-quality results. Requirements Previous experience in hospitality or hotel laundry services is highly desirable. Knowledge of garment finishing, pressing techniques, dry cleaning processes, and fabric care is preferred. Ability to operate laundry equipment including pressing machines and garment care machinery safely and effectively. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients seeking laundry services. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately. Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods. Familiarity with cleaning procedures using appropriate detergents to maintain a clean workspace. Attention to detail in garment processing to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
