Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundress to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, garments, and other items are cleaned and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and quality expected in a hotel environment. A background in hotel laundry services is preferred but not mandatory. Responsibilities Clean and launder various types of fabrics including linens, towels. and comforters. Operate washing machines and dryer equipment efficiently. Sort, wash, dry, and fold items according to established procedures. Inspect items for stains or damages before and after laundering, taking appropriate action as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times. Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely turnaround of laundry services. Skills Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and quality. Ability to operate laundry equipment effectively and safely. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to interact with team members and management effectively.
