Director, Laundry Are you someone who takes pride in a job well done, values cleanliness, and enjoys being on the move? York General is looking for a dependable and hardworking Laundry Aide to support our mission of providing hygienically clean linen for patients and staff across our healthcare system.
What You'll Do:
Plan and manage daily workloads on both the clean and soiled sides of laundry operations. Operate commercial laundry machines and other equipment safely and effectively. Deliver clean linens to various departments across the campus. Maintain quality standards and adhere to safety guidelines. Drive a full-size van for on-campus deliveries (valid Nebraska Driver's License required).
What We're Looking For:
Must have a valid Nebraska Driver's License A team player with a strong work ethic who can work independently. Ability to read and understand safety data sheets. Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Physically able to meet job demands: lift up to 35 pounds, stand or walk for 95% of the shift, and work in all weather conditions.
