Job Description

Kendal at Hanover is a non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community and home to 400+ residents. Kendal at Hanover is seeking a full-time Laundry Aide as well as a full-time Laundry Aide/Utility Aide to work either Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM OR Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with the requirement to rotate working every third weekend. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Cleaning linens to meet Kendal's daily needs Assuring an adequate supply of clean linen is available Maintaining a high level of sanitary conditions and production in the laundry area Performing all duties as necessary (picking up, sorting, washing, unloading machines, drying, folding, hanging, and delivering) Properly pre-treating, washing, and drying linens Cleaning machines, carts, floors, and counters as needed Handing infectious linen within procedural guidelines Performing heavy cleans in a thorough, professional manner Responding to emergency cleaning needs Working efficiently, adhering to daily schedule, thoroughly cleaning all assigned areas including all floor care.
