This role involves performing routine maintenance, repairs, and general facility upkeep to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will serve as a facility handyman, handling a variety of tasks to maintain the functionality and safety of our equipment and premises. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and proactive problem-solving are valued. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on commercial laundry machines and related equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues that arise with laundry equipment or within the facility. Perform general handyman duties including minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and other repairs needed around the facility. Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of new laundry equipment as required. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to minimize downtime. Support overall facility upkeep including lighting, HVAC systems, and other building systems as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in maintenance or repair roles, preferably with commercial laundry equipment or similar machinery. Strong general handyman skills including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and basic mechanical repairs. Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and perform repairs efficiently. Good organizational skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping and task management. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with staff and reporting on maintenance activities. Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work across various aspects of facility maintenance while ensuring the reliable operation of commercial laundry systems.

Pay:

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
