Overview We are seeking a dedicated Dry Cleaner and Spotter to join our professional laundry and garment care team. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly cleaning, spotting, and finishing garments to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. Duties Perform dry cleaning processes using specialized equipment and cleaning detergents to remove stains and dirt from various fabrics. Identify fabric types and stain characteristics to select appropriate cleaning methods and spot removal techniques. Operate pressing machines and garment care equipment to achieve crisp finishes and professional presentation. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to safety standards and proper cleaning protocols. Handle heavy lifting of garments and equipment safely, ensuring manual handling procedures are followed. Process cash transactions accurately when accepting payments for laundry services or garment finishing. Conduct quality checks on finished garments, ensuring they meet company standards before returning to customers. Assist with laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and packaging garments as required. Maintain knowledge of fabric care guidelines and stay updated on best practices in garment finishing and dry cleaning. Support team members with general cleaning duties to uphold a safe and hygienic work environment. Experience Previous experience in hotel or hospitality laundry services is highly desirable. Familiarity with garment pressing, finishing, and dry cleaning processes. Knowledge of fabric care techniques, stain removal methods, and garment handling procedures. Experience operating pressing machines, garment care equipment, and cash handling is preferred. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting of garments or equipment. Basic math skills for processing transactions and maintaining accurate records. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
