Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dry Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dry cleaning and laundry services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role involves both technical garment care and excellent customer service at the front desk, including managing drop-offs, pickups, and deliveries. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and efficiency are essential. Duties Perform dry cleaning and laundry services with precision, adhering to fabric care guidelines. Process cash transactions accurately at the front desk for dry cleaning, laundry, alterations drop-offs, and pick-ups. Manage customer interactions professionally, including receiving garments, garment alterations answering inquiries. Complete garment finishing tasks such as packing, steam folding to ensure garments meet quality standards. Handle pick-up and delivery of garments efficiently to ensure timely service. Assist customers with appointment scheduling for cleaning services. Assist with packages processing, labeling organizing and pick ups. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Use basic math skills for transaction processing and inventory management. Experience Prior experience in dry cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of fabric care techniques and garment finishing processes is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills are essential for managing front desk operations effectively. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
