• 4:00pm varied weekdays & weekends with some holiday requirements Job Qualifications Previous commercial laundry experience preferred but not required.

Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, Kendal staff, residents, and their families in person and over the phone. Ability to work independently and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laundry area. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, time management, and customer service. Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday. Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance. Ability to frequently reach above, at, and below shoulder height, as well as twist, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, and climb stairs. Job Duties and Responsibilities Perform laundry tasks in assigned areas to maintain daily in-house laundry production. Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure an adequate supply of clean linen is available throughout the community. Prepare, coordinate, and maintain scheduled linen deliveries. Complete daily logs and maintain accurate records of laundry procedures. Monitor, sort, and rotate laundry as needed. Track and maintain records of laundry production poundage by usage area.
