Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel linens and guest laundry are cleaned, laundered, and properly stored. This is a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel.

Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron hotel linens and guest laundry
• Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
• Inspect linens for stains or damages and report any issues to the supervisor
• Follow proper procedures for handling and storing different types of fabrics
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area
• Assist with inventory management by keeping track of linen supplies and reporting shortages
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:

• Previous experience in dry cleaning or hotel laundry operations is preferred
• Knowledge of proper laundering techniques for different fabrics
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality results
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds)
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
