Responsibilities Safely operate mini buses, shuttles, and other passenger vehicles in accordance with traffic laws, and company policies Navigate city streets efficiently, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs for residents, staff, or guests Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Maintain communication with dispatch via two-way radios for updates, route changes, or emergencies Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with special needs or mobility challenges Follow all transportation safety regulations and traffic laws to ensure passenger safety at all times Perform laundry duties such as sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens or clothing as required Skills Proven experience in bus driving, shuttle driving, or delivery driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) including air brake endorsement if applicable Strong mechanical knowledge for vehicle inspections and basic maintenance troubleshooting Familiarity with paratransit services, motor coach operations, school bus driving, or limousine services is advantageous Knowledge of traffic laws, defensive driving techniques, and state transportation regulations Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with passengers and team members using two-way radios or other communication devices Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to assist passengers effectively and courteously This role is perfect for individuals passionate about transportation safety, passenger assistance, and maintaining high standards of vehicle operation.
