Overview Join our dynamic team as a Laundry Attendant and play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of textiles for our valued guests. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for ensuring all laundry services are performed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and care. Handle laundry materials, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and garments. Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport laundry loads safely throughout the facility. Follow safety standards in production by adhering to safety protocols during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks. Maintain sanitation standards by properly using laundry detergents, stain removers, and cleaning agents while ensuring the cleanliness of work areas. Assist with customer service by responding promptly to laundry requests and ensuring timely completion of services. Conduct routine inspections of laundry equipment to ensure proper operation and report any maintenance needs promptly. Experience Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and pushing carts. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, calculating load capacities, and managing time efficiently. Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards relevant to textile cleaning operations. Familiarity with garment care machines such as washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control in laundry processes.
